Our appointment book is computerized, which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Please note that for routine wellness appointments, we are generally booking out 5-6 weeks. We are also generally booking out 2-3 months for routine surgeries.

Emergencies are accepted on a case by case basis. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us immediately so one of our highly trained staff members can advise you on your pet's particular emergency.

Emergency & Urgent Care

grey cat

Although we have a veterinarian and personnel on duty six days a week, some emergencies are beyond our scope of care and will require more specialized treatment.
Emergencies come in all shapes and sizes, and can include accidental ingestion of rat poison, hit by car, lacerations, and chocolate ingestion.
If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call immediately. One of our staff members will advise you on what our veterinarians think the best course of action will be for your pet, which may involve taking your pet to an emergency clinic, where they will receive highly specialized care for your pet's specific needs.

You can also bypass us completely, and call one of the local emergency clinics directly.  Their information is as follows:

WVRC in Grafton - 262-546-0249
Blue Pearl Veterinary Specialists in Port Washington - 262-268-7800

We are generally available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening.
If you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment, please give us a call, and our veterinarians will work to "squeeze" you in between scheduled appointments, if possible.
When you arrive, our staff will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.
