Dr. Jennifer Stephani (Dr. Jen) joined Tillie Lake Veterinary Clinic in April, 2017, and became Co-owner in October, 2017. As a long time resident of Jackson, Wisconsin, she is ecstatic to join the Tillie Lake 'family', and continue its tradition of family-oriented quality and compassionate care!
Dr. Jen's passion for Veterinary Medicine started with an assistantship position at a Small Animal practice in Waukesha, WI while just out of high school. From there she gained entry into the prestigious University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine (then-ranked 3rd best Veterinary College in the world!), and graduated high in her class in 2006.Dr. Jen followed that with an internship at a bustling specialty practice in Illinois, gaining valuable experience in emergency and referral medicine.
For the next 8 years Dr. Jen returned to her Wisconsin roots, and was a full-time Veterinarian and traveling Veterinarian in the Waukesha and Saukville areas. During this time, she honed her skills in general and emergency Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Jen also attended the prestigious Chi Institute, and gained the skills and training necessary to practice Animal Acupuncture and Eastern Herbal Medicine.
Dr. Jen is also a part of the Veterinary team at Elmbrook Humane Society, and is an active and eager foster pet parent.
In her spare time, Dr. Jen enjoys reading, going to movies, spending time with her boyfriend, friends, and family, and relaxing at her family's cabin up north.
She and her boyfriend currently share their home with a rescue kitty named Smokey, and their two dogs, Adam and Roscoe.
