Ammber began her Veterinary career in early 2000 as a kennel technician at a small animal practice in SE Wisconsin. There she worked her way through the ranks, and eventually became a full time Veterinary Assistant.
Ammber always had a passion for learning new skills, and she eventually took a job in the emergency department at WVRC in Waukesha, WI. In 2005 she moved to the Twin Cities and continued her career in small animal and emergency medicine. While living in MN, Ammber became a Certified Veterinary Technician, and gained additional Veterinary experience in Dermatology (McKeever Dermatology Clinics), internal medicine (MVRS), toxicology (Pet Poison Helpline), and did relief work in small animal and equine medicine.
She moved back to Wisconsin in 2011, and settled back in to general small animal medicine.
Ammber Joined the Tillie Lake team in April, 2017, and became a co-owner in October, 2017.
Ammber has a strong interest in emergency medicine, toxicology, pain management, and rehabilitation medicine.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, hunting, fishing, hiking, and outdoor activities.
Ammber currently resides in SE Wisconsin with her husband, Scott, and daughter, Josie. They share their home with their cat, Tippy, and 2 dogs, Stella and Roxanne.
