Pat

One of Pat's favorite aspects of Veterinary Medicine is seeing the new scientific and diagnostic tools and treatments the field has to offer, and observing how they can help improve our patients' health and quality of life. She also loves interacting with our wonderful clients and their pets, and working with a great team of coworkers.

Pat and her husband Mark having been living on a small hobby farm in the Allenton area since 1978, and they have been breeding, showing, and training Golden Retrievers for 25+ years. In addition to their 5 Golden Retrievers (Beacon, Bessie, Gala, Nettie, and Pepper) Pat and Mark share their farm with their Norwegian Buhund (Loki), Maltese (Benji), 2 cats (Taco and Bonnie Rait), 10 chickens, and small herd of Angus cross cattle.

In her free time, Pat very much enjoys spending time training and working with her own pets, and she is an active volunteer as a 4-H Dog Project Leader. She is also an Officer of a local Daughters of the American Revolution Chapter.

Pat and Mark especially love spending time with their friends and family, including their children Melissa (Tim), Jason, and Nate (Becky), and their 2 grandchildren, Emma and Logan.
